The college provides modern and diverse programs in engineering fields, which include civil engineering, architecture, biomedical engineering, mechatronics engineering, as well as in the fields of computers, information technology, information systems, graphic design and multimedia to obtain a bachelor’s degree. This is in addition to the master's program in computing.

The college invested thanks to the continuous support provided by the university leadership represented by the university president, to work on equipping laboratories and workshops, as well as advanced laboratories in all engineering and computer fields, and classrooms equipped with modern technologies, activating educational strategies and focusing on educational curricula and cadres in order to keep pace with engineering and computer development and prepare them To be among the future makers, elite academics who are distinguished in their scientific fields contribute to this. Admission Requirements

  • The faculty accepts high school holders in the Republic of Yemen or its equivalent at the rate that is determined annually.
  • Submit all the required documents, certified with the application for admission to the university, to the Admission and Registration Department.
  • Admission is made according to the capacity specified by the university and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • The student undertakes to abide by the regulations, instructions and regulations of the university in force during the study.

The specialty of architecture is known as the art and science of engineering and construction, and it is a discipline that is practiced in everything related to buildings and architecture, and designed in an artistic style. Interior design, which includes: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical matters, fire protection, lighting, and other special features of the project

The mechatronics engineering major is one of the most important disciplines required in all industrial institutions and units, as it is a major familiar with the three most important engineering disciplines within any industrial establishment: electronic engineering, computer engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Biomedical Engineering is the science that combines biomedical sciences, as well as physiology and engineering sciences, such as: computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The aim of this is to design medical and prosthetic devices; to understand the nature of diseases from all aspects and deal with them. It is considered one of the most prestigious departments in engineering colleges, and students from all other departments are interested in it.

The Oil and Gas Engineering Program seeks to provide the necessary infrastructure from research laboratories, equipped classrooms, and an independent library, all connected to the global information network (Internet), in addition to providing a sufficient number of distinguished faculty members in the various required disciplines.

The Department of Interior Design Engineering is distinguished by providing a high level of architectural education that rises to the regional and international level, capable of competing by graduating a generation of engineers capable of designing a built environment with high efficiency and outstanding performance. The program is also distinguished by stimulating and raising the research capacity of students to advanced levels and encouraging them to participate in community service.

The Cybersecurity program is a modern specialization that combines two main fields in the field of information technology: networks and information security (cybersecurity). The field of networks focuses on building computer networks, and the field of information security focuses on protecting data in all its forms on these networks. The two fields integrate together to achieve the three principles of cybersecurity: data confidentiality, ensuring its integrity, and accessibility (Confidentiality & Integrity & Availability).

The Information Technology Program was established in 2012, with the aim of providing the local and regional community with well-educated qualified students by providing them with theoretical and practical knowledge in the various fields of information technology, especially in information technology management, programming, databases, web application development and software engineering in accordance with international standards. In addition to training them on the latest information technologies that meet the requirements of the local and foreign labor market.

 

The Graphic Design and Multimedia Program is one of the new programs locally and regionally and one of the pillars of digital technology locally. The program aims to provide the local and regional market with qualified cadres capable of creating ideas, criticism and creative analysis, and equipped with the professional technical and artistic skills necessary to create two- and three-dimensional designs related to visual media.

The information systems program aims to graduate specialists skilled in computers and programming in the field of information systems, analysis and design of systems and databases, management of program development and management of information centers. Programs, projects and administrative processes in determining the organization's objectives for the application and development of information technology and its use in administrative work. 

Preparing distinguished and globally qualified students in the field of artificial intelligence. The program also aims to provide students with the foundations of knowledge and skills necessary to develop and apply artificial intelligence effectively. It also seeks to develop the student's abilities in understanding and analyzing data, designing and developing artificial intelligence models and algorithms and applying them in various fields. It also aims to enhance the ability to solve problems and innovate in the context of artificial intelligence, and encourage scientific research and scientific experiments to develop innovative solutions and advanced technologies in the field of artificial intelligence.
