تأسس فرع الجامعة بتعز كأول فرع للجامعة للعام الجامعي 1996.

وهو أول فرع لجامعة أهلية في محافظة تعز حيث مثل افتتاحه نقلة نوعية في حينه لكونه مثل إضافة نوعية للتعليم العالي في المحافظة من خلال الأقسام العلمية الجديدة كتخصص الحاسوب حيث يعد أول قسم لتدريس علوم الحاسوب في محافظة تعز وبعدها انشاء اول تخصص لدبلوم الصيدلة ثم تخصصات التسويق و المحاسبة.

أرحب بكم أجمل ترحيب في رحاب جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا – فرع تعز، أحد الصروح الأكاديمية العريقة لجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، أول وأكبر جامعة أهلية في اليمن، التي تأسست في عام 1994م لتكون منارة علمية رائدة في وطننا الغالي، حاملة على عاتقها رسالة بناء الإنسان وتعزيز التنمية والابتكار.

وقد تأسس فرع محافظة تعز في العام 1996م، ليكون من أوائل فروع الجامعة وأكبرها، مسهمًا منذ ذلك الحين في إتاحة التعليم العالي النوعي لأبناء هذه المحافظة العزيزة ومن المحافظات الأخرى ومن خارج الوطن. وخلال ما يزيد على ثلاثين عامًا من العطاء، تخرج في هذا الفرع أجيال متعاقبة من حملة الشهادات الجامعية في مختلف التخصصات الطبية والهندسية والتقنية والإدارية والإنسانية، شاغلين مواقع متميزة في مؤسسات الدولة والقطاع الخاص داخل الوطن وخارجه، ومسهمين بجدارة في خدمة مجتمعهم بما اكتسبوه من علم ومعرفة ومهارة.

Strengths of Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in Yemen

Students in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences enjoy a wide range of advantages, the most important of which is the availability of infrastructure, specialized professional staff, modern equipment and devices, in addition to the hospital of the University of Science and Technology, which is equipped with specialized professional cadres for training. The College of Medicine and Health Sciences affiliated to the University of Science and Technology is distinguished as the first medical college in Yemen; This is likely to be due to a number of factors, the most important of which are: the stimulating educational environment equipped with the latest laboratories, the qualified and experienced teaching staff, and a number of other factors that led to the continuity of the development horizon and the adoption of modern patterns for the study of medicine and health sciences that keep pace with modern education methods.

Program Overview

The Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Program was established in 1994, and it is considered one of the first programs at the University of Science and Technology, where the first class graduated in 1999, and the first three batches graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the university are considered the first at the level of public and private universities in Yemen.

The courses included in the program are prepared and applied according to the quality system adopted by the university in accordance with international quality systems. The main objective of the program is to graduate a cadre capable of providing therapeutic and research services in the community, with the knowledge and skills it has acquired, as well as theoretical and practical experiences.

Course Plan

The program plan includes 196 credit hours spread over 10 semesters, between university requirements, college requirements, compulsory specialization requirements, and optional ones. The duration of study in this program is five years, after which the student obtains a bachelor’s degree in oral and dental medicine and surgery as an accredited certificate at the local, regional and international levels.

Clinics:

The Clinics Department includes 52 modern units, in addition to the devices and tools necessary to provide high-quality treatment and preventive services to patients, under the supervision of a qualified staff to ensure a safe and smooth educational and supervisory process.

sterilization:

The focused sterilization unit in the dental department is equipped so that the sterilization process is carried out according to international sterilization specifications, in order to facilitate this process, make it safer, and reduce the time it takes. The center sterilization unit applies the highest standards of safety and quality in sterilization by using the latest technologies. There is a central sterilization unit in addition to secondary sterilization units.

Radiology unit:

The radiology unit provides various types of diagnostic radiography services to patients of the dental department and outpatient clinics, which include three units of conventional oral x-rays, and two-dimensional digital panoramic rays.

phantom lab Phantom Lab

The Department of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology includes a group of laboratories, including the Phantom Lab, in which second and third stage students are trained on practical lessons for dental treatment, which includes the fillings curriculum as well as the crowns and bridges curriculum, which are prosthetic treatments for missing teeth or A tooth that loses some of its parts by damage. The department continues its development plan by creating the appropriate environment for the educational process and equipping laboratories and clinics with the latest equipment.

Fixed and Mobile Prosthodontics Lab:

This laboratory is equipped with 64 units where students are trained in pre-clinical courses such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, dental anatomy and shaping. For example, students are trained on the technical steps of preparing prosthodontics and orthodontics appliances that are later used in clinics. The dental laboratory units are also distinguished by containing the latest products and technologies available for the production of prosthodontics appliances (complete and partial dentures, crowns and bridges) while maintaining a constant level of high quality. The highly skilled and experienced technicians in the laboratory produce complete and partial dentures that are characterized by a natural appearance and precision of manufacture. The laboratory also makes any modifications or repairs required by the patient to these appliances at any time to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort.

أنشأ قسم بكالوريوس علوم المختبرات الطبية في فرع الجامعة بحضرموت في العام الدراسي 2013/2014م كحاجة ماسة للمساهمة في رفد المؤسسات الطبية بكادر تشخيصي مؤهل، ونظراً لكثرة الأعداد من خريجي الثانوية والدبلوم العالي ورغبتهم في الحصول على شهادة البكالوريوس في تخصص المختبرات الطبية، بالإضافة إلى توفير عناء السفر خارج المحافظة للطلاب الراغبين في الدراسة.

The Medical Laboratory Sciences major is one of the specializations in the branch’s Department of Medical Sciences. برنامج التغذية السريرية والحميات هو أحد ثلاثة برامج قسم العلوم الصحية يمنح البرنامج درجة البكالوريوس ويشمل البرنامج على مقررات نظرية وعملية تؤهل الطالب على التأثير الكبير للغذاء على صحة الإنسان إضافة إلى التعرف على التأثير التكاملي الذي تلعبه التغذية العلاجية في علاج الأمراض المرتبطة بالغذاء مثل (السكري، السمنة، أمراض القلب) كما يوصي البرنامج الاهتمام الكافي للقضايا المجتمعية والسلوكية المرتبطة والأنماط الغذائية

Program description

برنامج جامعي مدته ست سنوات، ومجموع الساعات المعتمدة هو 205 ساعات، ويهدف في المقام الأول إلى توفير تعليم وتدريب مهني تنافسي من الناحية الأكاديمية في الصيدلة، نظريًا وعمليًا، بحيث يكتسب الطلاب المعرفة الحديثة والفهم، بالإضافة إلى تطوير العقول لتقدير وتطبيق المعرفة والمهارات والتكنولوجيا المكتسبة، في المقام الأول، لصالح مجتمعهم ومهنهم، من خلال تقديم مشورة قائمة على الأدلة للمرضى والجمهور بشأن قضايا الصحة العامة. سيكون لدى الخريجين أسس علمية أكاديمية قوية، وسيكونون صيادلة منافسين ومستعدين لأدوارهم في تحسين الرعاية الصحية.

بدأ هذا البرنامج في عام 2017، وتم اعتماده بناءً على المرجعيات الإقليمية والعالمية الآتية:

وكذلك بعض المواد المتعلقة بمهنة الصيدلة في مجالات أخرى غير المستشفيات، مثل الصيدلانيات والطب البديل.

يعتمد برنامج دكتور صيدلة في جامعتنا منهجًا دراسيًا حديثًا (باللغة الإنجليزية)، تم إعداده خصيصًا ليواكب أحدث متطلبات مهنة «دكتور صيدلي»، لتأهيل الخريج بشهادة معتمدة تيسّر له فرصة العمل محليًا وإقليميًا ودوليًا.
يتميز البرنامج بمكوّن تدريبي كبير، حيث يوفر للطلبة فرص التدريب العملي في معامل الكلية ومصانع الدواء، إضافةً إلى التدريب السريري في المستشفى التعليمي لجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، وفي المرافق الصحية التابعة لوزارة الصحة وللشركاء من القطاع الخاص.

Program Structure

The first stage:
هي «مرحلة السنة التحضيرية»، ومن خلالها يتعلم الطلبة العلوم الأساسية المؤهلة لدراسة المهن الطبية.
تحتوي هذه المرحلة على: علم الأحياء، والكيمياء، والرياضيات، واللغة العربية، والقرآن الكريم والثقافة الإسلامية، واللغة الإنجليزية، والمصطلحات الطبية، والحاسب الآلي، ومهارات التعليم، وأخلاقيات المهن الطبية.
المرحلة الثانية:
وهي «مرحلة التطبيق الإكلينيكي»، حيث تنقسم إلى سنتين دراسيتين، ومن خلالهما يتم دراسة مقررات الصيدلة الإكلينيكية، وتحتوي على ثمانية مقررات لمادة العلاجيات، وأنظمة الصيدلة المعلوماتية، ودلائل أسس الصيدلة، واقتصاديات الدواء، والتسويق والإدارة الصيدلية، وتفاعلات الأدوية وعلم الوراثة الصيدلية، وحركية الدواء، والوبائيات، ومبادئ البحث العلمي للصيدلة.
بالإضافة إلى: ممارسة الصيدلة، وعلم الأدوية، والطب البديل، وأخلاقيات وقانون الصيدلة، والكيمياء الصيدلية، والإحصاء الحيوي. وكذلك يتم التدرب في صيدليات المجتمع في هذه المرحلة.

المرحلة الثالثة:
وهي تتمثل في مرحلة «التدريب والامتياز»، وهي السنة الدراسية السادسة، حيث يتم تدريب الطلبة سريريًا من خلال دورات (Rotations) في مختلف الأقسام العلاجية بالمستشفيات (المستشفى الجامعي ومركز الأورام)، وتشمل أقسام: القلب والصدر، والطب الباطني، ووحدة الرعاية المكثفة، والرعاية الصيدلية المتكاملة، ووحدة الاستقبال والحالات الحرجة، والأطفال، وأمراض الدم والأورام، وصيدلية المستشفى، حيث يستمر التدريب لمدة عشرة أشهر متواصلة.
ومن خلال هذه المرحلة النهائية، يجب على الطلاب إعداد مشروع التخرج تحت إشراف أحد أعضاء هيئة التدريس من الكلية في إحدى مجالات العلوم الصيدلية.

The specialty of architecture is known as the art and science of engineering and construction, and it is a discipline that is practiced in everything related to buildings and architecture, and designed in an artistic style. About the department

The roots of the Information Technology Department at the University of Science and Technology go back to 1994, represented by the establishment of the National College, which later expanded to the University of Science and Technology - where it was the first computer programming diploma program in the Republic of Yemen. In the academic year 2007/2008, the Bachelor's Program in Information Technology was implemented as one of the sub-specialties in the Department of Computer Science within the College of Science and Engineering.

Partnership with distinguished Malaysian universities in education has played a prominent role in the development and modernization of various information technology programs and has enhanced the transfer of the ancient Malaysian expertise and its practical application, especially with regard to the management of educational processes and curricula, as well as the use of modern educational technologies. Whereas, in the year 2005/2006, a bachelor's program in Information Technology (English) was started within a partnership program between the University of Science and Technology and the University of North Malaysia (UUM University Utara Malaysia), which is one of the giant public universities in Malaysia. A master's program in Information Technology was also established in the year 2005/2006 with the partnership and supervision of the Open University Malaysia OUM. Computer programs were singled out in the College of Computers and Information Technology at the beginning of the academic year 2011/2012 to include the Department of Information Technology, which currently contains four programs.
