It is well known that developed countries place special emphasis on scientific research and allocate substantial budgets to support it, as scientific research serves as the compass of progress and advancement, and as a cornerstone of development and growth. This is achieved through specialized institutions and research centers that provide the necessary studies and consultations to help shape countries’ strategic policies.

Universities are at the forefront of these institutions that contribute to scientific research through their specialized centers and the programs they offer in the field of graduate studies.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the University of Science and Technology contributes to the advancement of scientific research through the scholarly theses and dissertations supervised by the Deanship, as well as through the publication of distinguished research produced by faculty members. The Deanship also supports society by preparing highly qualified and competent graduates in accordance with modern scientific plans, which we hope will contribute to the development and advancement of the community.

Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Academic Programmes

Master of Business Administration

The Master Program in Business Administration is designed for students who wish to advance their professional careers, by reaching leadership positions and designations both in Yemen and on an international level. The program aims to equip students with core administrative skills by combining theoretical knowledge thought in the classroom with practical implications to instil a multitude of leadership skills within students such as creative thinking, problem-solving, decision making and organizational leadership in a manner that is most effective, and which prompts further opportunities for growth and development.

Master of Accounting

The Master program of accounting provides students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the modern workplace, by adopting a comprehensive approach in deferent levels of the course structure including elements of financial, economic, and communicative management. The program also qualifies students to embark on prosperous professional careers in the fields of accounting, financial administration, and other areas, aside from acquiring an accredited postgraduate degree in Yemen, with international accreditation.

Master of Islamic Studies

The Master program of Islamic studies aims at supporting research efforts directed towards community service in Yemen and which serves the best interest of the Islamic world, by tracking latest changes and revolutions in the Islamic nation. The program also encompasses a number of topics which revolve around Islamic beliefs, Quran and Sunnah and the efforts of Islamic scholars.

Master of Computing

The Master program of computing is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills in the field of accounting and its related domains such as computer science, mathematics and knowledge integration, all of which are directed towards developing solutions to real issues. The program also aims at supporting scientific research efforts held by qualified and skilful cadres in applying reliable research methods, which ultimately contributes to the welfare of both the private and public sectors in Yemen.
