حصلت المجلات العلمية الصادرة عن جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا على مراتب متقدمة في تصنيف معامل التأثير العربي للمجلات العلمية العربية المحكمة لعام 2025م، الصادر ضمن التقرير السنوي لاتحاد الجامعات العربية الخاص بالمجلات العلمية العربية المحكمة.
وقد حققت أربع مجلات علمية محكّمة صادرة عن الجامعة، وهي: مجلة الدراسات الاجتماعية، المجلة الدولية لتطوير التفوق، المجلة العربية لضمان جودة التعليم الجامعي، مجلة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، مراكز متقدمة، لتكون من بين عدد محدود من المجلات العلمية اليمنية التي انطبقت عليها معايير الاعتماد، وتم منحها معامل التأثير لعام 2025م.
ويأتي هذا الإنجاز من بين 972 مجلة علمية محكّمة على المستوى العربي والإسلامي، حيث شهدت بعض مجلات الجامعة ارتفاعًا ملحوظًا في معامل التأثير مقارنة بالأعوام السابقة؛ إذ ارتفع معامل التأثير في مجلة الدراسات الاجتماعية على سبيل المثال من 2.4 عام 2020م إلى 3.06 عام 2025م، إلى جانب تحسّن مماثل في بقية مجلات الجامعة.
The impact factor is a measure of the importance of refereed scientific journals within the field of (IF) or (impact factor), and it reflects the extent to which new research refers to and cites previously published research in that journal. It also expresses the citation rate to the number of items published during the past two years of the journal In addition to the originality and scientific quality of the published research, the technical quality of the editorial board, the regularity of the journal’s issuance, in addition to the research arbitration system in it, and the commitment to the ethics of scientific research and publication.

- المجلة العربية لضمان جودة التعليم الجامعي الصادرة عن مركز تطوير التفوق – معامل التأثير (2.19).
- مجلة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الصادرة عن كلية الهندسة والحاسبات – معامل التأثير (1.84).
