International Cooperation Programs - University of Science and Technology - Headquarters - Aden

Based on the university's endeavor, and since its first experiences, to obtain the highest levels of local and international academic accreditation, and to ensure that its scientific outputs match the social and economic needs of the community, the University of Science and Technology - the main center - Aden, has gone through several stages in the quality assurance frameworks, which put the student's education and academic achievement at the core of their interest. With the increasing tendency of scientific institutions to add an international dimension through joint cooperation efforts aimed at expanding the scope of providing educational services, the contribution made by the university at the international level was not an exception.

Stemming from a clear strategy and goals, the University of Science and Technology, since the first years of its establishment, has been able to produce more than 1,500 graduates from postgraduate programs in universities, most notably INCEIF, UKM, OUM. And with the continued successes represented in the number of graduates from international cooperation programs, which amounted to more than 1,500 graduates, the University of Science and Technology continues to implement its vision in the longer term, and perhaps the most prominent indicator of this is two cooperation agreements with UniSZA and the Malaysian Universities of USIM, which resulted in more than 60 international postgraduate programs in The most important colleges are:

  • Colleges of Law and International Relations
  • Management and accounting colleges
  • Economics and information management faculties
  • Language colleges

Despite the clear benefit results of international cooperation programs, including the acquisition and sharing of expertise, the output of scientific research, openness to expertise and other common benefits, it is worth noting a set of advantages that the University of Science and Technology was able to obtain from the aforementioned universities, including:

  • Obtaining academic accreditation from public universities
  • Obtaining an academic certificate with a regular study system and pattern
  • Availability of study in both Arabic and English in Islamic studies programs
  • Study from the country of residence

In conclusion, the University of Science and Technology calls and urges Yemeni universities in particular and international universities in general to adopt the methodology of international cooperation as a direction for the development and improvement of the academic performance of university education, because of its great benefits for the inputs of the educational system, especially when that methodology stems from a response to the rapid developments and challenges identified in the world and an essential element of A broader strategy that invests in enriching the academic and research environment, which is reflected in the promotion of academic excellence.
