On Monday morning, February 21, 2022, Prof. Muammar Al-Qutaibi, Assistant to the President of the University for Academic Affairs, received male and female students of the third secondary school year of the late Najib Al-Salami School, who were on a scientific visit to the university, accompanied by the two vice deans of the secondary stage, A. Saeed Salah, A. Wishing Al Yamani, and Agent Activities A. Lula Faris, and physical sports supervisor a. Samah Yahya.
During the visit, the students learned about the laboratories of the main center of the university in Aden (pharmaceutics, laboratories, nutrition, medical skills, anatomy, computers, networks, graphics, engineering, electronic and electrical circuits), and they also visited the university library, dental clinics, and others.
At the end of the visit, the assistant met with Dr. Fayez Al-Tamimi - Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf - Dean of the College of Engineering and Computers, and Dr. Adel Al-Qasbari, a member of the university faculty, and Dr. Bashir Al Hammadi - Head of the Department of Administrative Sciences in the administration and students of the school. In the meeting, the assistant welcomed the students, informing them of the continuous development that the university is witnessing and the continuous work in building and equipping the university hospital, within the framework of the university’s keenness to provide the capabilities and infrastructure necessary to achieve excellence and leadership.
In his conversation with them, the assistant said: You have now visited the first university in Yemen, and you have seen for yourselves how it deserved this rank; Because the university has offered new specializations that are required in the labor market.
The deans of the faculties also gave guiding speeches to the students, which won their approval, for his part, through Prof. Saeed Salah - Vice Dean of the School expressed his thanks to the university administration for the good reception, expressing his admiration for the university and its distinguished equipment, and the qualitative and accelerating shift in the university’s infrastructure and other facilities.
These student visits come within the framework of spreading awareness of the specializations available in Yemeni universities, and bringing some topic to the minds of students, on top of which is the topic of choosing a university major.
