The College of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology - Aden - in coordination with the Center for Consultation and Development at the university, held a training course on steam power stations and electronic control systems, which is the first specialized course in this subject that is held at the level of public and private universities.
The course covered several topics, including:
Specifications of the modern thermal power station, specifications of the DCS automatic control of the power station, and warning and protection systems in modern power stations. The course included a field visit to the thermal power station - Al-Haswa, and the Aden Refinery Company - Little Aden.
