The President and Vice President inaugurate the field training fairs for medical and surgical students
The President of the University and with him the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University inaugurated on Wednesday morning corresponding to 22/1/2020 in the College of Medicine the scientific exhibition for field training for third-level students of medicine and surgery, while the Vice President and the Assistant Dean of the College of Medicine for Field Training Affairs inaugurated a similar scientific exhibition For third-level students of human medicine in the female branch on Thursday, 23-1-2020 AD
The university president, the vice dean of the college and his assistant listened to brief explanations for each group on the subject of the study, the results that were reached, and the most prominent obstacles and problems that the students faced during the field trip.
This exhibition comes within the activities organized by the Department of Community Medicine at the college with the aim of spreading health awareness, integrating the student into the community and the health problems in it, and getting to know the practical environment in which the students will be involved after their graduation, and getting acquainted closely with the most important problems that they will face during their working life, and providing them with the necessary skills in how to deal with Disease and health problems in the community
This year's field visits focused on a number of schools, where male and female students conducted a field survey of the school's healthy environment and conducted awareness and educational campaigns among targeted school students about personal hygiene and infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, dengue fever, swine flu and other diseases.
