Workshop on “Women’s Role in Development and Reconstruction”

In cooperation with the University of Science and Technology - Aden Headquarters, and in the presence of Dr. Munir Al-Abadi - Assistant to the President of the University for Student Affairs and Community Development Centers, the Yemen Information Center for Research and Media organized, on the seventh of October, a workshop on “Women’s Role in Development and Reconstruction”, with the participation of academics and representatives of government and private agencies and civil society organizations journalists, and human rights activists.

In the workshop, working papers were discussed on the topic presented by researchers from the university and outside. The workshop permeated the discussions, and then the workshop came up with a set of recommendations aimed at emphasizing the strengthening of the role of women in the political, development and reconstruction process, and empowering them economically by providing the necessary support to implement plans A strategy related to women's participation in various aspects.
