تُعد كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا من الكليات الرائدة والأعرق في اليمن. تأسست الكلية في عام 1994م، لتكون أول كلية طب أسنان على مستوى الجامعات اليمنية، سواء الحكومية أو الأهلية.
يؤكد هذا السبق الأكاديمي على الرؤية الثاقبة للجامعة في توفير تعليم طبي متميز. وقد تخرجت أول دفعة من طلاب الكلية في عام 1999م، لتشكل الدفعات الثلاث الأولى من خريجي الكلية علامة فارقة في تاريخ طب الأسنان باليمن، مؤكدة على الإرث الأكاديمي الرائد لهذه المؤسسة التعليمية العريقة.

- Providing a high level of education and training that ensures the qualification of dentists with high standards of competence.
- Developing curricula and curricula to ensure the student’s involvement in the process of self-education and the development of continuing education to meet quality and accreditation standards.

Bachelor of Dentistry Program Overview
The Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Program was established in 1994, and it is considered one of the first programs at the University of Science and Technology, where the first class graduated in 1999, and the first three batches graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the university are considered the first at the level of public and private universities in Yemen.
The courses included in the program are prepared and applied according to the quality system adopted by the university in accordance with international quality systems. The main objective of the program is to graduate a cadre capable of providing therapeutic and research services in the community, with the knowledge and skills it has acquired, as well as theoretical and practical experiences.
Bachelor of Oral & Dental Surgery Course Plan
يُقدم برنامج بكالوريوس طب الأسنان تعليمًا عالي الجودة لطلابنا، مُصممًا بعناية ليتوافق مع أحدث المعايير الأكاديمية. يمتد البرنامج على مدار خمس سنوات دراسية، مقسمة إلى عشرة فصول دراسية. تتضمن الخطة الدراسية المتكاملة 207 ساعة معتمدة، تُغطي:
متطلبات جامعية عامة.
متطلبات تخصصية إجبارية لضمان اكتساب المعارف والمهارات الأساسية في طب الأسنان.
متطلبات تخصصية اختيارية تُمكن الطلاب من تعميق معرفتهم في مجالات محددة تثير اهتمامهم.
عند إتمام البرنامج بنجاح، يحصل الطالب على شهادة بكالوريوس معتمدة، مما يفتح لهم آفاقًا واسعة في مسيرتهم المهنية بقطاع طب الأسنان

برنامج الامتياز
ابتدأ برنامج الامتياز في المركز الرئيس بعدن عام 2023. وقد تخرجت دفعتان حتى الآن، حيث ضمت الدفعة الأولى عام 2023 حوالي 100 طالب، بينما بلغ عدد طلاب الدفعة الثانية عام 2024 حوالي 120 طالبًا. وحاليًا، يضم برنامج الامتياز في دفعته الثالثة لعام 2025 حوالي 160 طالبًا.
يقدم قسم طب الأسنان بجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا برنامج الماجستير في علوم طب الأسنان البرنامج للبناء على خبرة درجة البكالوريوس، وهو مستمر في المشاركة مع كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة طنطا المصرية، والتي امتدت من عام 2008 حتى الان وتخرج منها دفعتان (حوالي 30 طالبًا في تخصصات طب الأسنان المختلفة).
يعمل البرنامج على تعزيز التفكير النقدي ومهارات البحث لدى الطلاب. ويتمثل نطاق هذه الدرجة في تحسين نتائج الرعاية الصحية وحل مشاكل مجتمع طب الأسنان. لذلك، تم تحديد هذا البرنامج في ستة مسارات تخصصية:

- التعويضات السنية
- العلاج التحفظي
- علاج اللثة
- جراحة وزراعة الاسنان

يُعد من المرافق التعليمية الحديثة، ويُستخدم لتدريب الطلاب على المهارات السريرية باستخدام نماذج محاكاة تحاكي الواقع. يتيح هذا المعمل بيئة آمنة ومجهزة بأحدث تقنيات المحاكاة لتأهيل الطلاب للتعامل مع المرضى بثقة ومهارة.
مميزاته:
- وحدات تدريب فردية لكل طالب.
- تدريب عملي على الحشوات، علاجات الجذور، وتنظيف الأسنان.
- محاكاة حالات مرضية واقعية.
- تطوير المهارات السريرية قبل العمل المباشر.
- معمل الجبس
يُعنى بتجهيز القوالب الجبسية اللازمة لتشخيص وعلاج الحالات السنية، ويُسهم في تعزيز المهارات العملية للطلاب في مراحل مختلفة من الدراسة.

يوفر بيئة تعليمية متقدمة لتعليم الطلاب تصميم وتصنيع التركيبات السنية المختلفة مثل التيجان والجسور وأطقم الأسنان.
الأنشطة:
- تدريب عملي متقدم على التركيبات.
- دمج النظريات العلمية بالتطبيقات العملية.
- استخدام تقنيات رقمية متطورة (CAD/CAM، ماسحات ضوئية).
- تجهيزات متكاملة تشمل أفران صهر، معدات تشطيب، وبرامج تصميم رقمية.
العيادات
Clinics: يتوفر حاليًا 8 عيادات متكاملة ومجهزة بأحدث التجهيزات، بالإضافة إلى توفر جميع المواد التطبيقية اللازمة للتدريب السريري. ويجري حاليًا إنشاء عيادتين جديدتين، كما يجري العمل على تجهيز المستشفى الجامعي لتعزيز القدرات السريرية.
تجهيزات متقدمة: يتميز القسم بتوفر ميكروسكوب أسنان، وطابعة رقمية، ومعملي أشعة متكاملين، وغرفتي تعقيم، بالإضافة إلى جهاز بانوراما، وكلها تساهم في تعزيز الجانب العملي والبحثي للبرنامج
Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery Admission and Registration Requirements
- The college accepts high school holders in the Republic of Yemen, or its equivalent, at the rate determined annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Submit all the required documents, certified with the application for admission to the university, to the Admission and Registration Department.
- Admission is made according to the capacity specified by the university and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- The student undertakes to abide by the regulations, instructions and regulations of the university in force during the study.
- Students enrolled in some college programs are subject to differentiation tests, which are a criterion for college admission, and this is done through placement determination, a personal interview, as well as a GPA competition and an admission test.
Documents required for high school graduates:
- The application form for admission (admission) with all the information included in it completed, in accordance with the conditions of the university.
- The original certified high school certificate or its equivalent, accompanied by a true copy.
- If the secondary school is from outside Yemen, it will be baptized (original + copy) from the following authorities:
- The Ministry of Education in the country from which the certificate was issued.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from which the certificate is issued.
- Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in the country from which the certificate is issued.
- The Yemeni Foreign Ministry in Aden.
If the high school diploma is from a non-Arab country, it will be translated after ratification and ratification of the translated copy (according to Paragraph No. 3 above), in addition to its equivalency at the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Yemen.
- A copy of the personal or family card for Yemeni students.
- Six personal photos (4×6) with a white front background.
- Photocopies of the first eight pages of the passport (for non-Yemenis), provided that the passport is valid for more than one year, with a record of residing in Yemen for at least one year.

The program aims to provide the graduate with the dental knowledge necessary to meet the labor market’s needs of national health cadres specialized in dentistry, in a way that enables him to work in all dental functions, especially the following:
- Hospitals (governmental and private).
- Medical care centers (governmental and private).
- Private dental clinics.
- Medical industries related to dentistry, and work as delegates or scientific supervisors in dental materials and devices companies.
- Dental research and development.
- Supervisory positions in government departments and medical supplies at the Ministry of Health, government hospitals and clinics, and other government health facilities.

- Supervisory positions in private medical institutions, and other medical professions related to dentistry.
