Program Overview
Biomedical engineering is the science that combines biomedical sciences, as well as physiological sciences, and engineering sciences, such as: computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering, and the goal is to design medical and prosthetic devices; To understand the nature of diseases from all sides and deal with them, and it is one of the most prestigious departments of engineering colleges, and students are interested in it from all other departments, so whoever enrolls in this specialty in many of the prestigious engineering colleges must obtain distinguished degrees in the first preparatory year
Course Plan
The study plan for the Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering program consists of 145 credit hours distributed as follows:
- University requirements: 25 hours.
- College requirements: 19 hours
- Compulsory department requirements: 55 hours.
- Compulsory specialization requirements: 40 hours.
- Elective major requirements: 6 hours.
