Conducting competitive examinations for students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences
On the morning of Wednesday, 10.10.2021, the differentiation exams were held for the first group of students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, the two programs of medicine, surgery and dentistry, in the halls of the main center of the University of Science and Technology - Aden.
The differentiation exam included three subjects: Chemistry, Biology and English. The exam was prepared in both Arabic and English (for students studying English at the high school level), and the questions were based on the books of my second and third secondary grades mainly, and the university has prepared a detailed guide for students that includes everything related to Comparison exams.
This was visited by both Dr. Muammar Al-Qutaibi, Assistant to the President of the University for Academic Affairs and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee on the Examinations, and Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs in the examination halls, and reviewed the progress of the examination process in accordance with the recognized control policies, and the approved quality procedures in this regard.
The university has adopted the differentiation exams in order to take all necessary measures to obtain the level that qualifies the student to study in medical specialties, and in a manner that establishes access to distinguished outputs, in order to preserve and continue the advanced level achieved by the university’s outputs in all disciplines and in various countries.
It is worth noting that the exams and preparations for them were directly followed up by the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Vice Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the heads of departments in the college, under the supervision of the Director of the Quality Assurance and Development Department, and the arrangements of the General Secretariat, and with the unremitting efforts of all relevant authorities in the university.
