Field visit of the Dentistry Department of Aden Sky Schools

The Department of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden carried out the third field visit to school students, as part of the practical application of the courses of community dentistry, public health and pediatric dentistry, and in line with the university’s responsibility to provide community service. 

The field visit was to the Sama Aden Model Schools, which included the implementation of a comprehensive program to raise awareness of oral and dental health for children in the first grades of primary school in schools. 

The landing was carried out by the fifth-level students in the Bachelor of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery program - the third batch, under the supervision of Dr. Fatima Al-Kabab, a pediatric dentistry specialist, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Wasabi, a public health specialist, and the coordination and follow-up of Dr. Ahmed Al-Yamani, the field training coordinator at the University’s College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
