The Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, carried out a field visit for third-level students in the department to the city of the sky of the Arabian Gulf.
This visit was supervised by a cadre of Civil Engineering Department teaching assistants, represented by Engineer Wajdan Walid and Engineer Rami Anwar.
The students were received by the site manager, Eng. Abdullah Al-Saadi.
During the visit, the students were briefed on a number of construction systems within the city, including foundations, columns and roofs, where they saw how the construction elements are implemented, and the design method for these facilities was explained. The students visited the turbine area, which is a distinctive feature of the city of the Arabian Gulf Sky, and is unique in its construction according to international standards.
The students also participated in several discussions with the company’s engineers and teaching assistants supervising the landing.
At the end of this activity, the supervisors thanked the organizers of the Arabian Gulf Sky City for their cooperation with the civil engineering students at the University of Science and Technology.
