University of Science and Technology receives students from Aden Model High School

The University of Science and Technology, Main Center - Aden, received students from Aden Model Secondary School for Boys on a scientific visit aimed at learning about university life and the university’s academic atmosphere, and to introduce secondary school students to the university, its colleges, departments, and its education system.

At the beginning of the visit, a number of professors presented an overview of the university, its colleges and departments, considering it the first university in Yemen. Then, the students toured the university’s buildings, laboratories and workshops, and listened to a brief explanation of the work of each laboratory and workshop, and learned about the devices, machines and parts that operate in them, as well as the practical application for the students.

The high school principal, Mr. Aref Hassan Al-Jarou, said that the aim of the visit was to learn about the university atmosphere and life and to learn about the style of scientific lectures. He thanked the university staff for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. The students of Aden Model High School also thanked the university for providing the opportunity for this visit and for the sufficient information provided to them about the university.
