University of Science and Technology Headquarters - Aden receives the Educational Hospital Evaluation Committee

The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology, Prof. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed, received the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Khalid Omar Basalim, and the committee assigned by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the evaluation of the University of Science and Technology’s main center teaching hospital - Aden.

At the beginning of the meeting, the University President welcomed the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Khaled Basalim, Chairman of the Committee assigned by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Wusabi, stressing that the University of Science and Technology will remain an educational edifice supporting the higher education system, built on modern and contemporary scientific and technical foundations.

Then, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Khaled Basalim, praised the advanced steps taken by the University of Science and Technology in the field of advancing the academic and educational process in Yemen, praising the advanced educational services, the distinguished technical efforts made by the university, and its continuous keenness on development, progress and prosperity.

During the visit, the committee, accompanied by the university president, viewed the laboratories and clinics, and the requirements provided by the university to implement practical training for students of the Department of Human Medicine in the College of Medicine. 

The committee consisted of the following brothers:

Prof. Dr. Khaled Omar Basalim, Team Leader.

Prof. Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health.

A. Ramzi Al-Mikhlafi, Director of the Office of the Minister of Higher Education.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al-Mansoub, Member of the Supreme Medical Council - Aden.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdullah Zain, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Aden.

A.M.D. Mohammed Sheikh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Aden.

Mr. Mustafa Al-Shaabi, Director General of Legal Affairs.

A. Munira Younis Abdul Razzaq, Director General of Private University Institutions.

Mr. Abdul Rahim Hadi Al-Zubaidi, Director General of the Secretariat - Team Administrator.

The committee was accompanied during the visit by the University President's Assistant for Student Affairs and Community Centers, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, the University President's Assistant for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Fatima Qahtan, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Development Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shamiri, and the faculty members of the college.
