The university visits the nursing home for the elderly in Aden

Coinciding with the International Day of Older Persons, representatives of the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, visited the Elderly Care Home in Aden Governorate, on the morning of Sunday, October 6, 2024.

The visit was conducted by Dr. Samah Al-Amri, Head of the Department of Dentistry at the University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suha Abdul Qader, Assistant Professor in the Department of Dentistry at the University and Dean of the College of Dentistry at the National University of Sudan. 

The visit aimed to check on the elderly and provide them with psychological support.

The visit resulted in setting a timetable for the university to provide health care to the elderly and their caregivers in the home. 

At the end of the visit, Dr. Samah and Dr. Suha thanked the management of the Elderly and Old People’s Home in Aden for the attention and care it gives to this special age group. 

This visit comes within the framework of the University of Science and Technology’s interest in the elderly, in appreciation of them and their contributions throughout their lives.
