Indonesian The University's Student Affairs Department organizes the leadership meeting
The Student Affairs Department at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, implemented the pioneering meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024 AD, in the building of the College of Engineering and Computers.
The meeting targeted students in the final levels of various specializations in the university colleges, where a representative from the Small and Micro Enterprises Development Agency (SMEPS) of the Social Fund for Development - Aden Branch attended, who spoke to the students, explaining to them how they will be able to obtain support to bring their projects to light and embody them on the ground, provided that these projects are characterized by their quality, distinction and continuity; as there will be a consulting body that will provide them with professional support through training courses, as well as providing financial support that may be represented by purchasing fixed assets for the project, materials or equipment, and other capabilities that the project needs.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Samah Al-Amri, Head of the Department of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Jihad Al-Abbadi, Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, and a number of administrative and academic staff, who all stressed the importance of students taking advantage of these wonderful opportunities provided by the university, and benefiting from them in expressing their ideas, achieving their ambitions on the ground, and going through the experience with strength and expelling fear, and trying hard without surrendering to the influences and obstacles that they may face.
The meeting concluded with a speech by Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President for Student Affairs and Educational Centers, who thanked the students for their wonderful participation. He also thanked Ms. Maryam Samir, representative of the SMEPS Agency, as well as the deans of colleges and heads of departments for their attendance, support, and motivation of the university students.
