Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research chairs a meeting of the presidents of public and private universities

On the sidelines of the ceremony honoring Yemeni universities in the Arab classification of Arab universities for the year 2023 AD, which was hosted by the University of Science and Technology, the main center - Aden, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Wasabi, held an expanded meeting for governmental and private universities.

His Excellency the Minister called on public and private universities to engage in Arab and international assessments, and contribute to continuous development and positive competitiveness that is reflected in the quality of performance and contributes in turn to the development and dissemination of knowledge through education and scientific research.

His Excellency pointed out that the National Tool for Evaluating Universities is considered a tool to motivate them towards development, competitiveness and raising performance, stressing that the National Tool project is one of the qualitative national projects due to its direct connection to the quality of national outputs, which, if achieved and found in the academic incubator of our students, will be positively reflected in the reality of life in general.
