Indonesian The Minister of Industry and Trade, Professor Muhammad Muhammad Al-Ashwal, handed over the Ministry’s shield to the University of Science and Technology, represented by Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed - Acting President of the University. This came during the ceremony held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, on the occasion of the graduation of the second batch of certified accountants, the June batch of holders of doctorates, masters and bachelors for the year 2023 AD, numbering 60 accountants. During the ceremony, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Al-Ashwal, stressed the importance of the supervisory issue in state institutions and the private sector alike in combating corruption, tax evasion, commercial fraud and other phenomena that harm the economic environment.
For his part, the Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, delivered a speech in which he expressed his happiness to attend the event, which was the culmination of the constructive cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as the process of linking the University and the labor market is a goal that the University seeks and a societal responsibility that the University must carry out.
Pointing out that the university, with its qualified staff, modern curricula, and quality programs, is an appropriate educational environment that helps graduate distinguished cadres who meet the needs of society and the requirements of development.
Focusing in his speech on the university’s leading positions among Yemeni universities, and its advanced positions among Arab and international universities, he noted that all of this would not have happened without the support and cooperation of all official and community bodies, parents and students. He also offered his sincere thanks to everyone, considering the university’s success a success for all.
