Field visit of the Department of Architecture to the Aden Sky Model Schools

The Department of Architecture at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, carried out a field visit to the Sama Aden Model Schools, for Architecture students - Second Level - Group A, within the architectural design courses (2).

The aim of this activity was to identify the spaces and functions of the school, as well as how to design these functions architecturally, and how to benefit from them in designing the school project. 

The outcomes of the visit included: students’ understanding of school design and movement, how to separate students based on age and educational level, whether in floors or yards, and applying this in their ideas in the design process. In addition, students learned about modern scientific activities and methods, such as artificial intelligence and robotics, and added them to their projects.

This descent was supervised by: Dr. Ibtisam Amber, Eng. Samah Omar Mohamed Thabet, Eng. Nouf Sabry. 

It is worth noting that Sama Aden School is a model private school, with a high level of services and educational quality, and contains all the components and spaces of the school; which helped students understand all the departments and spaces on the ground.
