In continuation of implementing the university’s directives to link university students to the labor market, the College of Engineering and Computer Science - Department of Oil and Gas Engineering held a scientific symposium on Wednesday 02-15-2023 entitled: Oil and Gas Explorations in Yemen, which was delivered by: Eng. Al-Khader Omar, Eng. Mukhtar Fadhel.
During the symposium, several topics were discussed related to how oil and gas are formed, the means of extracting them from wells, and the use, export, method of liquefying gas, and the advantages of oil in Yemen.
The seminar was attended by Dr. Moamer Al-Qatibi - Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi - Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf - Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Dr. Abdul Rahman Qadi - Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, a number of department heads, teachers, students of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, and a number of engineering students in various specializations.
