His Excellency the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Ashwal, today visited the main center of the University of Science and Technology in the capital, Aden. During the visit, His Excellency the Minister toured the halls, laboratories, clinics and educational facilities of the university and listened to a detailed explanation from the university leadership about the university’s specializations, educational programs and the educational and social services it provides. The Minister praised the modern and advanced equipment he saw and the qualitative programs and specializations available at the university, which keep pace with scientific and technological development and meet the needs of the labor market and the theoretical knowledge and practical skills students receive that qualify them for the labor market and to serve the community.
During the visit, he was briefed on the progress of the exams for obtaining the Certified Public Accountant license, which is held by the Ministry of Trade and Industry in partnership with the University of Science and Technology - Main Center - Aden.
He was received by Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, Assistant President for Student Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, and the Secretary-General of the University, Mr. Mohammed Al-Aghbari.
