Participation of the Head of the Pharmacy Department in the Therapeutic Guide Update Workshop

The Head of the Pharmacy Department at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, Dr. Abdullah Al-Nasi, participated in the workshop “Updating the Therapeutic Guide in its Third Edition”, which was held by the Ministry of Public Health and Population, in partnership with the World Health Organization and the World Bank. 

Dr. Abdullah Al-Nasi's participation came in response to an official invitation extended to him to attend this workshop, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Public Health and Population, Prof. Dr. Qasim Muhammad Qasim Buhaibeh, who opened the workshop on the morning of Sunday, October 27, 2024, where its work continued over the course of two days, Sunday and Monday, October 27-28, 2024, and was hosted by the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies in Aden.

The workshop was attended by 50 participants with medical specialties and competencies. The workshop introduced the treatment guide and how to use the medicine wisely. Working groups were formed from the participants to provide their comments and opinions with the aim of enriching the treatment guide.
