The University of Science and Technology witnessed an event to discuss graduation projects for students of the Medical Laboratories Program, in the presence of the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulghani Hamid Ahmed, and his assistants, Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi and Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, the university’s teaching and administrative staff, a number of students’ parents, and representatives of a number of hospitals and training centers in the governorates of Aden and Lahj.
The event began with a welcoming speech by the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulghani Hamid Ahmed, who praised the efforts of students and faculty members in presenting distinguished projects that contribute to the development of the field of medical laboratories. He stressed the interest of the university leadership in scientific research as part of its efforts to achieve the university’s goals, emphasizing the importance of continuous cooperation between the university and health institutions to provide an integrated training environment for students.
The event included a special presentation about the university’s journey over the past 30 years, focusing on the achievements and developments that occurred during this period, and on the university’s role in graduating highly qualified medical personnel.
The show featured students’ graduation projects, which covered various topics in the field of medical laboratories. These projects were admired by the discussion committees for their excellence and innovation. Parents were also given the opportunity to learn about their children’s achievements and to see some of their children’s educational experiences at the university.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the students participating in the first free medical camp held by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as the exchange of congratulations on the occasion of the approaching end of the university study period, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and success that the university seeks to establish among its students and educational staff.
