Field visit for mechatronics engineering students to Al-Haswa steam station in Aden

The College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, organized a field visit for students of the Mechatronics Engineering Department to the Al-Haswa Steam Station, which is one of the vital facilities responsible for generating electrical energy for the city of Aden and its suburbs. 

The students were received by a team of engineers and technicians working at the station, who provided the students with detailed explanations about the work mechanisms at the station. The main topics of the visit included: distillation systems, boiler, steam turbines, and the control and monitoring room. 

This visit came as part of the academic efforts to connect students with practical reality and enrich their technical knowledge. This visit had an important impact in introducing students to the complex processes required to manage and operate such stations, which enhances their scientific and practical capabilities and prepares them to face future challenges in the field of energy and engineering.

This activity was supervised by Professor Muammar Al-Dhali, who was keen to provide the necessary guidance to the students and ensure that they achieved the maximum educational benefit from this experience.
