Excellence Ceremony 2023

Under the patronage of the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed, the Excellence Program - Department of Dentistry, at the University of Science and Technology, Main Center, Aden, held today a farewell ceremony for the new batch of the Excellence Program 2023 AD, amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness, and feelings of joy for achievement and reaping the fruits.

At the opening of the ceremony, which began with verses from the Holy Quran, the Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdul Ghani Hamid, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduating students, stressing that the university is proceeding on steady steps towards the academic and educational development program, through the creation of educational and academic programs.

Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid urged the graduates to continue their efforts in academic achievement and to gain more scientific and medical knowledge, stressing that graduation is considered the actual beginning of a successful practical life, in which the hopes and aspirations of male and female students are fulfilled.

In her speech, the Head of the Dental Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Samah Al-Amri, said that the Department of Dentistry has been keen to honor interns annually, and that the internship program will be a major step towards quality in the field of academic and medical education. 

Dr. Samah called on the graduates to continue their education and self-qualification, to acquire more skills and practical experiences, and to raise their academic and practical level.

Dr. Yasser Al-Muhaisni delivered the speech of the graduating students, explaining that this program was a dream that haunted the ambitions of all distinguished students, and today it is a reality and a new reality for a promising future of giving, thanking at the end of his speech everyone who contributed to the establishment of this program and was a source of support for all students.  

At the end of the ceremony, the Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdulghani Hamid, his Assistant for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, Head of the Dentistry Department, Samah Al-Amri, and Supervisor of the Excellence Program, Dr. Muhammad Al-Wasabi, honored the graduating students with certificates of appreciation, and honored the supervisory and administrative staff.

The ceremony was attended by deans of colleges, heads of departments, a number of university faculty members, and a large number of students’ parents and relatives.
