Indonesian In an atmosphere filled with joy, in which tears of joy mixed with feelings of pride, the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden held the graduation ceremony for the academic year 2022-2023 / 2023-2024, for its graduating students from all departments of the university's colleges, this morning, Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
The ceremony, which was held in Saba Hall in Aden, was attended by a number of guests and prominent figures, including: Prof. Dr. Khaled Omar Basalim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Educational Affairs, Prof. Dr. Lotfi Khanbari, Director General of Private Higher Education Institutions, Prof. Dr. Lotfi Qais, Director General of Government Higher Education Institutions, Prof. Dr. Fahmi Banafeh, President of Al-Adel University, and Dr. Nahla Al-Kaaki, President of Al-Riyada University.
The University of Science and Technology was also attended by: Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, Deans of Colleges, Heads of Departments, and Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Dr. Samir Muthanna. The ceremony was also attended by the parents of the graduating students, as well as a large gathering of media professionals and journalists.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduating students, praising the efforts of their parents, and their tolerance and patience throughout their children’s educational journey.
After that, Prof. Dr. Khaled Basalim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Educational Affairs, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduating students, praising the University of Science and Technology for graduating these qualified cadres.
The ceremony included a reportage about the university and its achievements throughout its academic career spanning thirty years.
The ceremony also included many artistic segments celebrating the graduates, which were well received by the attendees and delighted their ears with the expressive words, beautiful melody and distinguished performance.
At the end of the ceremony, there was the much-anticipated segment, which was the segment honoring the graduates, by the university presidency and deans of the colleges. The top graduates were also honored with valuable prizes. The segment of honoring was preceded by a wonderful presentation by the graduating students on the honoring platform.
During the ceremony, the graduation magazine issued by the university on this occasion was distributed, including many congratulatory words to the graduating students from the university presidency, assistants to the university president, deans of colleges, heads of departments, and the director of the marketing and public relations department, in addition to words from a number of graduates on this occasion that is dear to their hearts.
