Brief biography of Professor Jamal al-Din Hizam Muhammad.
One of the social and educational figures in Aden, Jamal al-Din Hizam Muhammad was born on April 23, 1939 in the city of Al-Mualla - Aden Governorate. He studied elementary school in Al-Mualla Elementary School, and studied secondary school in Aden Crater High School, which is currently called Lutfi Jaafar Aman High School. He completed his bachelor's degree at Aden College, which It was called Al-Bayoumi College in Sheikh Othman. In 1956 he was appointed as a teacher in the schools of Aden, and in 1966 he was sent to study at the University of London and obtained a diploma in routine uses, operation and maintenance, and in 1978 he obtained a diploma in the field of theory and practice of pedagogy from the International Center education in France.
In 1982, he obtained a master's degree from the University of Aden in the field of geographical cartography. He attended a number of courses, seminars and training programs outside the country, and obtained a number of certificates, including the UNESCO-Cairo certificate for a training program in the field of preparing texts and curricula for adult education.
He worked as a lecturer at the Teachers Training Center. He also worked on organizing the first population census at the beginning of 1973. He also prepared maps and lists for the population census and developed census maps. He worked in the Planning Department at the Ministry of Education.
He prepared a map for the first agricultural census in the south of the country in 1979 with arranged lists of villages and towns for the residents of the southern governorates.
Laying the foundation stone for the most effective statistical control in the field of statistics. He works on preparing maps with various purposes such as: educational illustration of geography, maps and lists of villages for the population census, maps and lists of villages for the agricultural census. He has worked as deputy director of the Institute of Administrative Sciences since 1988.
