Under the patronage of the Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, the University of Science and Technology, Hadhramaut Branch, organized in Miral Hall in Mukalla, an honoring ceremony for the top students and graduates for the academic year 2022-2023 AD in all specializations in the various colleges of the university.
In the ceremony, which began with verses from the Holy Quran, Mr. Saleh Abboud Al-Omqi, Secretary-General of the Hadhramaut Local Council, conveyed the greetings of Governor Bin Madi to the attendees, offering congratulations to the graduating students, and praising the role of the leadership of the University of Science and Technology and its interest in the students.
For his part, Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President of the University for Student and Branch Affairs, confirmed that the University of Science and Technology provides an integrated infrastructure for students through buildings, laboratories, workshops, and other educational means, noting that the university ranked first among Yemeni private universities in the local classification, and pays great attention to its students, by organizing various student activities that contribute to developing the skills and capabilities of students in various fields.
The ceremony included a speech by the graduating students, several artistic segments, singing and chanting performances, a reportage, and a poem that was well received and admired by the attendees.
After that, Mr. Saleh Abboud Al-Omqi, Secretary General of the Local Council in Hadhramaut, Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President of the University for Student and Branch Affairs, and Eng. Alawi Al-Eidaroos, Director of the University Branch in Hadhramaut, honored the top graduates in all specializations in the university’s colleges, and presented them with commemorative shields and certificates of appreciation on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by the university advisor, Eng. Mohammed Al-Amoudi, the branch’s deputy director, Mr. Ibrahim Madhesh, the financial and administrative director, Mr. Saeed Bahfi, the heads of the academic departments, faculty members, a large gathering of parents of the graduating male and female students, and a number of directors of institutions in the governorate.
