Inauguration of the first floor of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences building at the University of Science and Technology - Hadhramaut Branch

The University of Science and Technology - Hadhramaut Branch, in the city of Mukalla, witnessed the inauguration of the first floor of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences building, in the presence of the Acting President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdulghani Hamid Ahmed, and the Director of the Hadhramaut Branch, Dr. Alawi Saqqaf Al-Eidaroos, in addition to the branch’s administrative staff, faculty members, and students.

The new building includes an integrated group of laboratories and laboratories specialized in various fields, and it also contains modern classrooms. 

During the inauguration, the Acting President of the University stressed the importance of this project in supporting the educational development process at the University, and in meeting the increasing needs of the labor market for qualified medical personnel.

He also pointed out that this achievement is the culmination of the university's tireless efforts to provide an ideal educational environment for students, adding that the new building will contribute to raising the quality of education. 

For his part, the Director of the Hadhramaut University of Science and Technology Branch, Dr. Alawi Saqqaf Al-Eidaroos, confirmed that the inauguration of the first floor of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences building at the Hadhramaut University Branch represents an important step towards achieving the university’s vision of being a leading scientific edifice in the region, noting that the university is currently working on developing its future plans to expand the scope of its academic programs and provide distinguished services to the community.
