Indonesian The Student Affairs Department at the University of Science and Technology, Main Center - Aden, launched the annual football sports league for the academic year 2023/2024 AD.
The Inmaa City Stadium hosted matches that included four teams, in which Dentistry 2 faced Artificial Intelligence 1, which ended in favor of Dentistry with eight goals to none, followed by the second match between Cyber Security 1 and Mechatronics 2, Cyber won with three goals to none, and the third match brought together Information Systems 3 and Business Administration Arabi 2, Information Systems won 4-1.
The first day of the league concluded with a fourth match between Civil Engineering 2 and Human Medicine 2, which ended 3-2 in favor of the Civil Engineering team.
All matches witnessed excitement, enthusiasm, and high morale among the players. The tournament activities will continue throughout the second semester, which will witness strong competition with the rest of the groups.
The opening of the league was supervised by the Director of Student Affairs at the University, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Nakhbi, and the Sports Activities Officer, Mr. Moaz Hisham, thanking the interest of the University represented by the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ghani Hamid, and Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, for their support of student activities that achieve benefit and enjoyment for students, and enhance their spirit of teamwork and brotherhood in the spirit of one team, between the various departments.
