The Department of Mechatronics Engineering - College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, organized on Saturday 06/01/2024 a discussion of graduation projects for the first batch of students in the department.
The discussion and evaluation committee consisted of: Dr. Yasser Mahmoud, Dr. Muhammad Saeed, Mr. Jihad Al-Abbadi, Mr. Hussein Al-Saqqaf, and Mr. Ammar Kurd.
The committee discussed the projects submitted by the students and evaluated these projects after listening to a detailed explanation of the content of each project. The discussion committee praised these projects and confirmed that they were distinguished by accuracy and objectivity, in addition to their contribution to serving the community.
The students were able to present their projects in a distinctive way that won the admiration of the discussion committee and the attendees.
The projects had the following titles:
Smart Home System Based on IOT and Component Technologies.
Design and Development of Water Level Sensing System based on IOT and Sensor Networks.
Automatic Gate Control via Wireless Technology Device.
Color-Based Sorting Robot.
Internet of Things based Street Light Monitoring System.
The discussion was attended by: Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President for Student Affairs, Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, a number of heads and faculty members at the college, and parents of students.
