Public discussion of Biomedical Engineering students' projects - College of Engineering and Computer Science

The College of Engineering and Computer Science - Department of Biomedical Engineering - held a public discussion of graduation projects for fourth-year students in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
The discussion committee was formed by: Head of Department, Prof. Ahmed Al-Siya, as an internal examiner, Dr. Nasr Al-Awdi, as an internal examiner, Ms. Samia Al-Shamiri, as an internal examiner, and Dr. Yasser Mahmoud, as an external examiner.
The discussion committee praised the projects that are considered a precedent in the field of biomedical engineering, which bore the following titles:
- Building an electrical circuit to output the heart signal and improvements to the output for the ECG device.
- Building a special sensor and a special electrical circuit to protect the eye from blue light in the eye and alert to its concentration in the eye.
- Building a patient monitoring device using GSM technology and also GPS to monitor the patient remotely by monitoring the oxygen level, temperature and other factors.
- Concept and realization of a biomedical electronic polarization system designed to measure heart rate and blood oxygen concentration.
The discussion was attended by Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, heads of departments at the college, department professors, and parents of students.
