Closing ceremony to welcome new students to the university

On Thursday morning, 10/22-2021 AD, the week of induction for new students for the academic year 2021-2022 was concluded.

At the closing ceremony urged a. Dr.. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Acting President of the University, in his speech to the new students for their hard work and diligence, wishing them an academic year full of creativity and excellence.

The Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Fayez Al-Tamimi said in his speech: Our celebration this year has a special feature, especially as we receive the first batch of students of the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program here in Aden. 

At the ceremony, the student Marwa Shaker spoke about her university experience, and the president of the Iqra Club student Muhammad Al-Walidy spoke about the club and its activities, and the importance of reading for the university student, ending his participation in a visual presentation on the club’s work last year. 

The reception was attended by the assistant president of the university, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Fatima Qahtan, Head of the Department of Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Muhammad Al-Baghdadi, Head of the Department of Dentistry, Dr. Samah Al-Amiri and Head of the Student Affairs Department, a. Abdulaziz Al-Nakhbi, and a group of academics and administrators at the university.
