Today, the University of Science and Technology - Aden signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Aden, to manage the examination process for certified accountants, in the presence and under the supervision of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal.
The memorandum of understanding, signed on behalf of the university by the university’s assistant president for academic affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, and on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade by the Undersecretary of the Ministry and Chairman of the Committee for the Licensing of Certified Public Accountants, Ali Atef Al-Sharafi, included the involvement of the University of Science and Technology - Aden in holding the examinations for certified public accountants organized by the Committee for the Licensing of Certified Public Accountants for holders of master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting, in addition to organizing training courses and providing introductory lessons for those preparing for the exam.
Following the signing, the technical aspects and the possibility of preparing for holding scientific refresher courses were discussed, through which the qualification paths would be clarified for applicants and assistance would be provided in understanding the essence of the exams, which would facilitate the applicants’ passing to obtain results that would enable them to obtain a professional license consistent with the law, regulations and systems in force.
