The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology - Headquarters - Aden has started a visit to the State of Sudan to sign multiple agreements with Sudanese universities for the purpose of cooperation in academic fields, areas of quality and academic accreditation, especially obtaining the accreditation of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) for the medicine and surgery program, and other domains. Accompanied on this visit by Dr. Muhammad Muammar Al-Shamiri, Director of Quality Assurance and Development Department at the University.
Wednesday, corresponding to 09/14/2022 AD, the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr.. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, a joint cooperation agreement with the National University - Sudan, signed on behalf of the National University by the President of the University, Professor Al-Qurashi Muhammad Ali. This signing was the culmination of a series of meetings that discussed areas of cooperation, and referred the signing of executive agreements to the executive units of the two universities.
The agreement included cooperation in the areas of improving academic programs, qualifying them for international accreditation, especially the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program, exchanging and qualifying faculty members, exchanging different experiences between the two universities in the field of e-learning, participating in international educational platforms, the electronic library, establishing joint research projects, and developing Scientific journals and periodicals and scientific publishing
