The University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, opened two cybersecurity labs, in the presence of the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, and the Dean of the College of Engineering and Computers, Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf.
The two new labs are equipped with the latest technical specifications, and include 60 modern computers loaded with many programs that fully serve the educational process in the field of cybersecurity.
During the opening of the two labs, the Acting President of the University said that the two new labs are a qualitative addition to the seven computer labs at the university, stressing that the opening of the two labs is a step that comes within the framework of the university’s interest in the practical application aspect; so that students can truly benefit from their specializations.
During his meeting with the students, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed stressed the need to make the most of this advantage offered by the university, which is the advantage of practical application, to acquire practical skills that meet the needs of the labor market.
In turn, the students expressed their satisfaction with this addition that links the theoretical and practical aspects, and stressed the university’s constant keenness to provide all laboratories and all requirements of the educational process; to achieve the highest practical skills.
