Medical laboratory students pass the field visit exam
The final level students in the “Medical Laboratories” program at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology successfully passed the field visit exam at Ibn Khaldoun Hospital in Lahj after taking this exam.
The exam provided students with the opportunity to apply the practical skills they had acquired during their internship in the hospital over several months.
The students were evaluated under the supervision of Dr. Waheeba Ahmed, Director of the Technical Affairs Department at the hospital, Dr. Abdel Fattah Abdullah, Head of the Laboratories Department, and a group of laboratory specialists, including Dr. Maha Al-Mansouri, Dr. Ali Mohsen, and Dr. Aida Salem. The evaluation was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Yamani, the field supervisor of the training.
In this context, Dr. Ahmed Al-Yamani, the field supervisor for students at the university, thanked the hospital administration for its efforts in facilitating the training program for students and helping them gain practical experience and deal directly with patients and laboratory equipment.
