Cooperation and partnership agreement between the University of Science and Technology and the National University of Science and Technology in Iraq

The University of Science and Technology signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with the National University of Science and Technology in Iraq. The agreement was signed by the Acting President of the University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Abdulghani Hamid Ahmed, while it was signed on the other side by the President of the National University of Science and Technology in Iraq, Prof. Dr. Abdulrazzaq Laibi Shamkhi. 

The terms of the agreement - which was signed in Baghdad in conjunction with the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities - included improving academic programs and qualifying them for international accreditation, exchanging expertise between the two universities in the field of e-learning, exchanging faculty members, implementing joint research projects, developing scientific journals, qualifying faculty members at the master's and doctoral levels in both universities, exchanging visits, and participating in conferences, workshops, training courses, and seminars organized by the two parties. 

The agreement also included signing an executive program for the agreement at the level of the deanships and relevant units, and forming a joint committee from the two universities to follow up on the implementation of the agreement’s provisions, headed by the Vice President of the National University of Science and Technology and the Assistant President of the University of Science and Technology for Academic Affairs.
