The President of the University in a visit to the President and Vice President of the University of Aden
On Sunday morning, corresponding to 22.08.2021 AD, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed, President of the University of Science and Technology, visited the President of the University of Aden, Prof. Dr. Al-Khidr Nasser Lasour in his office at the University of Aden. This visit came within the framework of consolidating relations between the two universities, and discussing the best ways to further Benefiting from the agreement signed between the two universities, and reflecting the content of the agreement into an implementation plan that includes various academic and research fields.
In the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Khidr Nasser Lasour welcomed the president of the university, praising the continuous development witnessed by the University of Science and Technology, and its being a leading institution in private higher education in Yemen, especially after the transfer of its main center to Aden, expressing the full readiness of the University of Aden to cooperate and coordinate in everything that would Upgrading the educational and scientific aspect in the country.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed, President of the University of Science and Technology, expressed his thanks to the President of the University of Aden, and through him to all the staff of the University of Aden, for the full cooperation shown by the university and all its affiliates, praising the essential role played by the University of Aden in the fields of higher education and scientific research in Yemen, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination between the University of Science and Technology and the University of Aden in the fields of research and education, noting the required integration between educational institutions, and permanent coordination that would employ the available capabilities to make the best use of them.
During the visit, the President of the University met with the Vice President of the University of Aden for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Aklan, who praised the University of Science and Technology and the rapid development it has achieved since its establishment, and the discussion took place between them on the detailed applications of the agreement signed between the two universities in the fields of scientific research and qualification.
This visit comes within the framework of the mutual visits between the two universities, and among a number of activities carried out by the university in order to strengthen relations and joint cooperation between it and the various relevant institutions in order to preserve the excellence of the university’s outputs, and to achieve its goals.
