Holding a publishing skills workshop at the university

As part of the scientific activities held by the university, and in the context of its relentless endeavor to continue to actively contribute to scientific research, the Scientific Research and Publication Committee at the university held on Saturday morning, August 22, 2021 AD, a scientific workshop on the topic of “Publication Skills”.

The workshop dealt with a number of important basics in its subject, as it touched on a set of basic concepts and terms in scientific publishing, and also discussed how to choose and correspond with scientific journals, knowing the strength of the journal and its impact factor, creating different accounts in important databases, and other basic skills of interest to researchers. .

The workshop was carried out by Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Sabri - Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology Branch - Hadhramaut, and one of the distinguished Yemeni researchers. The workshop was attended by a group of faculty members and graduate students at the University of Science and Technology, and other universities.
