About the program: Master of Dental Sciences Program
The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology offers the Master of Dental Sciences, MDS program, which is designed to build on the bachelor's degree experience. The program began in collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry at Tanta University in Egypt in 2008 and continued until 2012, with two batches graduating (about 30 students in different dental specialties), and then the program was continued by the Faculty of Dentistry at the university.
The courses included in the program are prepared and applied according to the quality system adopted by the university in accordance with international quality systems. The main objective of the program is to graduate a cadre capable of providing therapeutic and research services in the community, with the knowledge and skills it has acquired, as well as theoretical and practical experiences.
This program is divided into seven tracks:
- Oral medicine and periodontics,
- And prosthetic dentistry,
- Conservative dentistry,
- Oral surgery and dental implants,
- And orthodontics,
- And pediatric dentistry.

To be a regional and international leader in graduate dental education, healthcare, collaborative, clinical and community research.

- To update and enhance the student's knowledge of basic sciences important to the clinical practice of dentistry.
- Gain advanced knowledge and clinical skills in clinical dentistry.
- Learn how to manage patients with advanced stages of oral disease.
- Develop research skills in planning, conducting, evaluating and reporting investigation results.
