On Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024, a delegation from the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, visited His Excellency the Indonesian Ambassador to Yemen, residing in the Sultanate of Oman.
The visiting university delegation consisted of: Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, Community Centers and Branches, Dr. Alawi Saqqaf Al-Eidaroos, Director of the University Branch in Hadhramaut, and Mr. Saeed Bahfi, Financial and Administrative Director of the University Branch in Hadhramaut.
The visit focused on discussing the joint relations between the university and the Indonesian embassy, due to the facilities provided by the embassy to Indonesian students studying at the university. The meeting also reviewed the historical relations between Indonesia and Hadhramaut.
During the visit, the University Vice President provided an introductory overview of the university and the educational and academic services it provides to all students at the local, regional and international levels.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador praised the role of the University in providing distinguished educational services. He also welcomed the University delegation and pledged to provide all possible facilities for the delegation’s visit to Indonesia, where he extended an official invitation to the University to attend the Indonesian Trade Fair, which will be held from October 9 to 12, 2024.
At the end of the meeting, the university delegation presented the university shield to His Excellency the Ambassador, in gratitude and appreciation for the embassy’s efforts to facilitate the difficulties faced by Indonesian students studying in Yemen.
