University of Science and Technology - Aden announces the upcoming holding of its first international scientific conference “Administrative Sciences and Sustainable Development - Reality and Ambition”
The University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden announces the upcoming holding of its conference "The First International Scientific Conference: Administrative Sciences and Sustainable Development - Reality and Ambition", which will be organized by the College of Administrative and Human Sciences at the University during the period from Sunday 18 to Tuesday 20 August 2024 in Aden, under the generous patronage of the Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak - Prime Minister.
The conference aims to: identify the role and connection of administrative sciences to the sustainable development process, as well as identify the reality and challenges of sustainable development at the local, regional and international levels, in addition to the goal of contributing to enriching scientific research in the field of administrative sciences, and enhancing its role in serving the local, regional and international community, as well as encouraging scientists, researchers and those interested, graduate and undergraduate students, and also encouraging international and local efforts, and increasing awareness of sustainable development issues, and the importance of achieving them.
The conference topics include six themes: leadership and business management, accounting and finance, banking and financing, entrepreneurship, economics, and statistics. Arabic and English have been designated as the official languages of the conference.
The conference will be attended by university professors, colleges and academic institutes, postgraduate researchers (PhD, MA), undergraduate students, research and scientific studies centers, official bodies from ministries, their institutions and offices, public and private companies, and international and local organizations with research interests.
The list of keynote speakers at the conference includes a group of prominent specialized scholars: Prof. Dr. Dawood Abdulmalik Al-Hadabi from the University of Science and Technology - Yemen and the International Islamic University - Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Medhat Abu Al-Nasr from Helwan University - Egypt, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulmajeed Al-Omari from the International Islamic University - Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Omar Abdullah Zaid from the International Islamic University - Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Najm Al-Bashari from the Sudan University of Science and Technology - Sudan.
Dozens of research papers and scientific studies will be presented at the conference in various axes of the international scientific conference, with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists from a number of Yemeni, regional and international universities.
The University of Science and Technology announced the possibility of attending the conference for those interested in administrative sciences inside and outside Yemen, with the opportunity to attend remotely via the Zoom program.
