During his visit to Jordan to attend the meetings of the fifty-fourth session of the Association of Arab Universities, and within the framework of his meetings with the presidents and directors of universities and educational institutions, the Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Director General of the Islamic Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Al-Thneibat, and during the meeting, he reviewed with him the university’s progress, the aspects of development that it has pursued, the transfer of the main center to Aden, and the achievements it has achieved at the local and regional levels.
In the meeting, it was emphasized the continuation of cooperation between the Islamic Hospital and the university, in various fields, including the training of staff, as well as the acceptance of medical students for training, and in the advisory aspects of the university hospital, and others. At the end of the meeting, the university shield was handed over to the director of the Jordanian Islamic Hospital.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdel-Wahab Al-Maamari, former vice president of the university.
