On the morning of Saturday, December 18, in the Great Hall of the University of Science and Technology Building - Headquarters (Aden), the celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language was held, which was organized by the Student Affairs Department in the presence of the University Presidency represented by Dr. The President of the University for Academic Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Abdo Al-Hosali and a group of academic doctors, writers and researchers, including Dr. Abdul Hakim Bagis, Director of the Al-Dhafari Center for Research and Yemeni Studies, Dr. Khaled Saleh Al-Azani, Director of the Arabic Language Center for Rehabilitation and Training, Dr. Rashid Muhammad Al-Rahwi, Dr. Abdullah Makiyash, and Dr. Fahmy Hassan, Dr. Mansour Saleh Al-Walidi, Dr. Sanad Muhammad Abdul-Ghani, Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Shaif, Dr. Ramzi Al-Hamidi, Dr. Masoud Amshush, Dr. Adel Al-Numeiri, and a large group of university students.
In his speech, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi welcomed the guests and attendees and thanked them for accepting the invitation to attend. After that, Dr. Abdo Al-Hosali gave a speech on the International Day of the Arabic Language, in which he turned to the Arabic language from several aspects.
A group of speeches and interventions were delivered at the ceremony on the importance of the Arabic language and the significance of celebrating it, and solutions for its development, survival and preservation.
The ceremony included some poetic, artistic and creative participations. At the conclusion of the celebration, the attendees and guests were honored with certificates of appreciation for their efforts in serving the Arabic language and their participation in the celebration.
