A delegation from the University of Science and Technology participates in the celebration of the graduation of Quran and Hadith memorizers at Al-Azhar Institute in Umm Suwannah, Indonesia, in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

A delegation from the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, witnessed in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, the graduation ceremony of a batch of memorizers of the Holy Quran and the Noble Hadith (the Forty Nawawi Hadiths) from Al-Azhar Umm Suwana Institute for Memorizing the Holy Quran, which was held at the headquarters of the city of Tangerang. 

The delegation of the University of Science and Technology was represented by: Dr. Munir Al-Abbadi, Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, Community Centers and Branches, Dr. Alawi Saqqaf Al-Eidaroos, Director of the University Branch in Hadhramaut, and Mr. Saeed Bahfi, Financial and Administrative Director of the Branch. 

At the ceremony, Dr. Alawi Saqqaf Al-Eidaroos delivered a speech on behalf of the university, in which he praised the institute’s efforts in teaching the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, stressing the importance of these sciences in building and developing societies.

In the context of strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the university and the institute, the university delegation presented the university shield to the director of the institute, Dr. Abi Ali Siddiqin, in appreciation of his efforts and contribution to spreading science and knowledge.

For his part, Dr. Abi Ali Siddiqin expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University of Science and Technology for its participation in this event, emphasizing the depth of the relationship between the two institutions. He also presented the Institute’s shield to the University as a gesture of appreciation.

The ceremony was attended by a group of Indonesian religious and educational figures, including: a representative of the Indonesian Ulema Council, and a representative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs; which confirms the importance of this event, and its role in enhancing cooperation between religious and educational institutions in Indonesia.

It is worth noting that Al-Azhar Umm Suwana Islamic Institute is one of the most important institutes concerned with memorizing the Holy Quran and the Noble Hadith in Indonesia, and it has contributed greatly to graduating generations of male and female memorizers who serve their religion and their country.
