Indonesian Joint event between the University of Science and Technology and the Supreme Authority for Medicines in Aden
The Department of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology and the Supreme Authority for Medicines in Aden, represented by the Center for Drug Vigilance and Safety, organized a joint awareness event on the occasion of World Drug Safety Week.
The participants in the event presented a number of scientific knowledge related to the best ways to create awareness about drug safety and how to deal with reporting its side effects, and the role of the Vigilance Center in follow-up and monitoring.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Nasi, Director of the Pharmacy Department at the University of Science and Technology, praised the efforts of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and its important awareness activities, which include awareness programs and the dissemination of health culture in most universities, schools and hospitals.
The event included a presentation on the activities of the Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Center.
