A scientific visit for cybersecurity students - University of Science and Technology - College of Engineering and Computers - Taiz Branch to the Yemeni Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The first and second level cybersecurity students paid a field visit to the Yemeni Bank for Reconstruction and Development - Taiz (city) on Sunday and Monday, March 19-20, 2023, where they were briefed by the branch manager and his deputy on the bank's policies related to protecting data and digital fixed assets and procedures for verifying the validity of banking operations according to the powers specified for each employee, and the mechanism for implementing policies for complying with international standards and laws and regulations related to financial exchanges and protecting customer accounts and data. The students were also briefed on the bank's risk management, after which they visited the relevant departments and learned closely about the practical procedures to ensure the efficiency of banking operations and ensure their validity in accordance with the recommendations and instructions of internal and external auditors.
The Cybersecurity Program Officer and students at the university, Dr. Fatik Saeed, expressed their gratitude and thanks to the bank’s management and staff for providing this opportunity that enables students to learn about the practical reality of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures, protection procedures, and granting of powers according to multiple levels to ensure non-evasion and to define the powers and responsibilities of each work team from the bank’s staff.
